Antaup is one of Leo dan Brock's close circle of male brothers-in-arms. Antaup is known as the "lady's man", though is never actually seen with one.
Appearance and Personalty[]
Antaup has sharp cheekbones, a wide grin, and dark hair, with a loose lock that's forever hanging across his forehead, that's being tossed back, only to flop down again. He is the one the girls can’t leave alone apparently, slick and quick and well groomed.
History[]
Antaup and Leo grew up together, along with Jurand. Whitewater Jin joined the crew, when Leo was fostered in Uffrith with The Dogman, which was later rounded out with Glaward, Barniva. and Ritter.
A Little Hatred[]
Antaup, who is a close friend of Leo dan Brock, is at his side while Leo is in Angland and The North. The two fight together in the Battle of Red Hill against King Scale's forces, with Leo and the Union emerging victorious. Later, Leo travels to the capital city of Adua to receive a parade in his honour, but Antaup remains behind in Angland.
The Trouble With Peace[]
Antaup readily supports Leo dan Brock in his rebellion against the crown. He travels to Sipani with Leo to garner the help of King Jappo mon Rogont Murcatto. While Leo talks with King Jappo in a private room at Cardotti's House of Leisure, Antaup remains downstairs, gambling and getting drunk.
At the Battle of Stoffenbeck, Antaup fights alongside Leo and Whitewater Jin. He is dispatched to the right-flank to try and get the Open Council's forces moving, after coming under a cannon barrage, While riding back to Leo, it is revealed that Antaup is not the ladies man he pretends to be, and in fact finds them tiresome. When the battle turns against the Leo's forces, the Young Lion make a last ditch effort to capture King Orso. He leads his cavalry into an ambush where they are struck by cannon fire. Antaup is mortally wounded, and dies before Leo is taken prisoner.
