The Burners are an anti-manufacturing faction of workers who are seen to be planning disruptive attacks in newly industrialized cities in Midderland. In contrast to the Breakers, their primary goal is the wholesale dismantling of the Union, and they are almost universally hostile to the monarchy and aristocracy. The leader is woman called the Judge, though behind her is the real mastermind, a mysterious figure known as the Weaver.
