Kanta is the name of the Southern Continent, to the south of Midderland across the Circle Sea. Regions of the continent include Gurkhul, Dagoska, Kadir, Sikkur, Dawah, Yashtavit, and Shamir, as well as smaller nations Taurish and Muntaz. It is dominated by the mighty Gurkish Empire, which has subjugated almost all the continent, except Dagoska. The people of the continent are collectively known as Kantics, and all speak the Kantic language, incomprehensible to those who speak the common tongue.
