“ | I like you, Brock. Maybe we’re two of a kind after all. The Young Lion and the Great Wolf together. There’s a partnership’ll make the world tremble! | ” |
Two of a Kind1 is the fifty-second chapter of A Little Hatred.
Chapter Summary[]
Finree dan Brock visits her son, who is recuperating from his wounds from the Duel in the Circle. Leo bemoans the fact that Rikke hasn’t been to see him, infuriated that he spared Stour Nightfall. The former Lady Governor sees things differently, as an opportunity to win a long-term peace with The North. Leo takes her advice, and goes to see Stour. At first the Great Wolf thinks Leo is there to gloat about his victory, but Leo bonds with him as a fellow warrior. They both dream the same things; glory on the battlefield and a great name for the songs. In the end, Leo seems to succeed and the two young men shake hands.
