Yolk is a new recruit assigned to Corporal Tunny's command during the Battle of the Heroes.

The Heroes[]
A short lad with a lot of freckles, Yolk was a thief, conscripted to the army for his crimes. Of the four new recruits, he most shares Tunny's cynicism, becoming something like his protégé, or at least the butt of his jokes. He is also the only one to survive the whole battle.
Sharp Ends[]
Yolk, now a Lance Corporal, is seen in Talins playing cards with Forest, Tunny and Javre.
A Little Hatred[]
Crown Prince Orso enjoys surrounding himself with curiosities, and Tunny and Yolk have become his carousing partners.
